Actually, it was in a veterinary magazine! The original story was published in Veterinary Economics in 2003 and it was republished in Firstline Magazine in 2005...
What a great story, Kristi! I sent a comment to Firstline suggesting that both Boomer and Dr. Kristi deserve a pat on the head. Clearly, both of you were born to be gentle servants. Scott, on the other hand, seems to be trying to get me fired.
