M-O-U-S-E-Y

Well, let me introduce you to our new cat. Her name is Mouse. She is a fabulous cat that I brought home from work. She has been at the clinic for a while (no one seems to remember how she got there or how long she had been there). We suffered a bad year with our animals in 2007, and I was thrilled at the opportunity to take her home.

While she was being "tried out" here, I applied soft paws to her nails so she wouldn't tear up anyting. Of course, people who have come thought that I PAINTED her nails hot pink. Uh, you are talking to KRISTI Busby, right? Anyway, she got 2 off this morning, so off to the clinic we went today to declaw her. Kate was so excited - when I told her where we were going, she said, "The clinic is so fun! Mama, can I go too?!"

So, now Mouse is officially our cat. She is fabulous with the kids. Wesley drives her crazy - but, hey, he drives us all crazy. Kate has called her "Mousey" since I brought her home. She adds "y" to everything: Brooksie, poopy, Mousey. And, before anyone wonders, we only have 2 indoor cats - and one doesn't really count, because I get to see her maybe every other day...

Oh, and I changed my template back. I am not happy with it now. I never should have changed it! :) Anyway, don't be suprised if you see changes coming in the next weeks. I'm changing it until I get it right!

That is one pretty kitty cat! I know he is feeling very pleased with himself that he finally decided to adopt you and your little family to be his peeps.
