It's a BLOG PAR-TAY!

While out shopping in P'ville, I went to Nancy's shop. It is so cute and has a huge variety of children's boutique clothing. It was a treat to get to finally meet her, as we have only known each other in the blog world.

At Nancy's suggestion and my agreement, we nominate that we have a blog party for us local bloggers. This would be a Saturday lunch, and any and all local bloggers that we know would be invited!

I will begin by inviting all my local blog buddies: October 4th at 11:00am. Details will follow as to where we will meet. I am open to suggestions!

1. Please RSVP so that I know how many are interested and are able
2. Please nominate a restaurant! :) I HATE picking out where to eat!
3. Invite your local blogger friends - especially ones that follow bloggers that you know may be there
4. Be prepared to share your 3 favorite blogs - and why!

I think this is a great idea. It will be so nice to put voices with faces we all see EVERYDAY! I'll be waiting for your response!

What a great idea about the blog party! I will have to check about. Remember Me is a great song! I actually heard it for the first time at Leigh's high school baccalaurette (sp??). Two of her classmates sang it and it was beautiful!!! Glad you like it!!

Hey ladies. I would love to come. It's possible that I will have to work that day, but if not, count me in. I love the Eastside Grill. They have THE. BEST. GRILLED. CHICKEN. CAESAR. SALAD in the world.....

Oh I so wish I lived closer! Maybe you guys could take a little trip to Utah :) I can't wait to see your wheat decoration. Your so sweet, you made me feel so good about it. How does that quote go? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery or something like that. I just checked out some of your posts that I've missed. I love your little tree plate, what a cute idea. I also love your drapes and your living room. I think the colors you picked are perfect, your fireplace mantle is beautiful.

I'm a maybe! I'd love to, but I'm doing makeup for a wedding party that day, so it will depend on time. Great idea though!!

BTW, I did find some really cute stuff at CCE, not a ton, but I never buy a ton. My favorite find was a table and 4 chair set for Marley...solid wood, only $30! I'm going to repaint it and it will be part of her Christmas! Missed you being there!!

That is a great idea. Obviously, it is going to be a "girl thing", but I really like the idea.

I technically live close enough to make the trip.......When your plan is nailed down, give me a heads up. I just might show. I'd love to meet everyone! It's weird to think of people as your "friends" when you haven't even heard their voice, but it's true!!

Love the idea and when football season is over with, I'd love to participate! But, we'll be at Daddy's ballgame on that Saturday.
