Crafting again!

I made this arrangement yesterday! For those who are coming to our blog lunch... there will be glimpses of it next Saturday!

The inside of the bowl has nuts from Gatlinburg. The crimson hydrangeas were from Tuesday Morning, and the rest of the filler flowers were from the Dollar Tree.

I also found these cute oil paintings from Tuesday Morning. I LOVE tiny pictures in chunky frames. I wish I could have hundreds of them! I have been looking for something like this forever - and finally found them yesterday. I'm not sure if I like them over the sink, but I think that part of it is the lighting. I want to replace it, but I'm hoping I can figure out what to replace it with!

Up close of the adorable florals.

I like the picture frames, and saw them in the TM ads. Tell me, do you think the prints can come out and replace with a picture?

Love all of these! The arrangement looks very expensive! Can't believe Dollar Tree had some of the stuff! I love tiny oils in big frames, too. It's very Victorian. Years ago, I found a tiny (2 by 3) watercolor of a botanical matted and in a big frame at The Salvation Army in Bham for $1.00!! I still use it!

Your floral arrangement is beautiful and I love the oil paintings above your sink. Oh, I wish I lived by you and could come to your blogger party, I hope you all have a great time. By the way, I think you've posted about your kitchen before, but I just have to say again how beautiful it is.

Kristi: Shannon and I are hoping we can make the luncheon. Someone gave her hubby tickets to the Ala. game so if he goes, she'll be left with the twins and we ain't bringin' them! If Pop (my husband) can keep them for a little while, we'll be there; otherwise, we'll have to meet up another time. Keep your fingers crossed we make it cause I'm sure it will be lots of fun!

My comment disappeared! Shannon and Melissa met a couple of weeks ago at Ms. GiGi's where Taylor and Mary Ashley take dance, same day, different time! Pop can handle one 4 year old better than he can two so maybe Jackson and Pop can have some "guy time" together...we're going to Shannon's to eat dinner shortly so I'll talk to her about Melissa's girls coming.

Thanks!

Love that arrangement! Carson gathered nuts at my parents' house years ago when they lived in TN, and I brought them home, certain they would be useful for something. But then they sat in my garage until Joe threw them out. Now I'm wishing I had thought of this idea. That turned out great!

And I think your oil paintings look so lovely in the kitchen. They give you something pretty to look at while you're working.
