Hooray, hooray it's Saturday!

This week started out pretty typical. Then, I had vertigo on Thursday. I have never had that before, but it sure isn't fun. My doctor said that I have fluid behind my ears that resulted from allergies. I've had allergies all my life, but never had vertigo. I am feeling much better now, although a little dizzy every now and then.

I ended up working yesterday instead of Thursday. It was a crazy day, and it was good that I was there. Over lunch, we had a diabetic emergency, a dog come in that had been "hit by a golf cart" and a cat in respiratory distress. The diabetic is OK, the dog had a dislocated shoulder (which I fixed) and the cat had a large tumor in it's chest that was obstructing it's trachea - and I euthanized it. We posted the cat afterwards and the mass was enormous - the size of his heart. That made an interesting day for me!

We just got back from a great birthday party for Thomas. There was so much neat stuff for the kids to do! I wished over and over I had brought my camera, but I didn't. This afternoon I hope to get my plate finished (yes, I know, from Easter), get Kim's baby shower present and go see Reed. Tonight will be here before I know it!
