Not much has been going on this week. I worked Monday and Thursday, and I get to work tomorrow. I am always nervous when I am by myself, scared that something may come in that I can't handle. But, today went fine, despite being incredibly busy!
Brooks has had a runny nose since last Saturday. I may be taking a trip to Dr. S's office on Saturday. I'm about ready for this thing to get cleared up, and so is he! Kate is doing fine - she loves saying her memory verses (all 3) all the time.
Her latest is: "Worship the (Lord) Word with gwadness. Come before him with joyful songs"
Last week, Kate was "reading" a book, and I asked her to count the cookies on the page. She lazily counted 8 (when there were only 6). I told her to try to count again, and she started, "Uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinco, seis...." I started laughing - good old Handy Manny. It really was funny, though, that she can count to 8 in Spanish!
Another thing: Kate was crying about something (I don't even remember now what it was) and she looked at me and said (while still crying), "Mama, I need to calm down! I need to calm down!" I had to turn my head to keep from laughing...

I love it, "I need to calm down"! If we would only all realize that when we have "fits".
