Boy, did we have fun this year! Despite Brooks being sick, he had a fantastic time, as did Kate. She got 26 eggs, and Brooks found 19 eggs. I have had to limit their candy intake... after all, we did want them to be able to sleep at some point! :)

Silly boy
Tonight, Scott was going over Brooks' medicines. Scott said, "Hmmm... this one is 3 1/2 mls" Then Brooks says, "I said 3 1/2 mls! I talk like you!" Scott replied, "That's right, you do" to which Brooks said, "I speak English, Daddy. Did you know that?"

Funny
I am cooking supper in the kitchen. The kids are in the living room, laughing HYSTERICALLY. Scott comes in the kitchen and asks if I know what they are laughing at: snakes mating on TV.

Dad is a celebrity...
My Dad was featured on TV last night. I, as usual, worked late and didn't see it in person. But, the video is here for you (and me) to enjoy! Click here.

Counting...
Tonight, Brooks and I were going over counting cards. He got stuck on "3" (I'm never quite sure if he really gets stuck or whether he is being silly), so I whispered to him "t-h-r-e-e". Then he looked up at me and said, "Oh good, Mama. I was going to say '15' ". My son is such a mess!

Floating teeth
This isn't us... but it looked like us! Dr. Lange came out and floated Reed's teeth this morning. Horse's teeth grow all their life. Especially as they age - it becomes more important to have them leveled so that they don't have any sharp points. Reed has lost a total of 3 molars in the back (I'm not sure if that is good or not... ) It was so much fun for me, and it brought back so many fun memories of large animal clinics. Overall, he got a good checkup - until next year!

See you, February
This past February was, for me, the busiest on record. It started, actually, late January with a marriage retreat in Eufaula. It was a great time and we really enjoyed it. The following weekend was preparing for Kate's birthday party, with me working extra days at the clinic. Then, her 5th birthday party (I have already blogged about that, haven't I?) which was so fun. She had a really good time.
The following weekend was our first annual Marriage and Family Seminar at church. It was a lot of work, but worth it. However, it wore me out!
The next weekend I worked more days at the clinic, then worked the consignment sale. I love working at the sale, but, there again - wore me out. Scott's parents also came down that weekend for a visit - but didn't see much of me...
That next week, the stomach virus came to visit our house. Brooks started that afternoon, then we had all had it by Wed. Then I worked extra days at the clinic again. That weekend, I had a seminar in B'ham, where I was on the tail end of a sore throat that migrated into a cough.
Needless to say, I am so glad that it is March! We anticipated on spending the day outside today, but the yucky weather just didn't help out much. I cooked an amazing tasting supper, one of Grandmama's recipes, and I am typing from my new laptop!!! :) I can finally say that I have joined the tech world. I feel like we have made such a jump...
Need to blog more... I will get better...
