So NOT...Ahhhh, so you have a child like my Reagan! So NOT fun. Reagan started getting really picky with her food. My sister-in-law who has 4 kids and one a teenager said that she heard that it takes a kid 12 or 13 times before they decide if they really like it or not, so keep offering. But it sounds like little mister man is like my 2nd born (WHY is it ALWAYS the 2nd born??) and I had had enough drama at dinner so she wouldn't eat what I put infront of her, and she got to eat it for breakfast and again for lunch. She got hungry enough where she really didn't care what it was she was happy to have SOMETHING to eat. But of course, she didn't get any snacks in between either until she ate the food I had placed infront. What can I say? I am the ultimate MEAN mommy! Oh, and I have to agree with Scott about the "Conway" thing. My dad always says that Reagan has so much "Tester" (my maiden name) in her and I say..."Dad, it isn't a "tester" thing...it is a SIN problem thing!" Because in Jeremiah 7:24--it says "Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward"<BR/>I am only sharing because my parents prided themselves on our stubborness and it was nurtured in us and now I am dealing with horrible habits today. So when I see the stubborness in my darling little Reagan's heart I am swift to deal with it because I don't want her to struggle in her adult life as I have.<BR/>You are one awesome mamma!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08312686937698877576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941357121026769603.post-66098939728818592092008-12-10T11:50:00.000-06:002008-12-10T11:50:00.000-06:00Persevere.....that rule about trying everything on...Persevere.....that rule about trying everything once really does work. Bet Brooks and Mimi butt heads alot, as Mimi's got alot of that Conwayism in her too! It's my understanding that Mimi gets more and more like Tom Conway everyday! Good luck with that stubborn streak in your little one. A bit of unsolicited information. I would make my children take a bite, one bite of everything on their plate. Then and only then could they have pb&J, etc...Sometimes, they found that they actually liked the food!Laura McCannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12142102098189200576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941357121026769603.post-51793827957741853312008-12-09T21:58:00.000-06:002008-12-09T21:58:00.000-06:00Good luck! Hang in there. Kids have the darndest way of getting the nutrition they need from a handful of otherwise strange foods. The lasagna sounds great!
